Pedagogy Fellowship Program

Open to private teachers of violin, viola, cello, or piano.

The Heifetz International Music Institute Pedagogy Fellowship Program, funded by the Surdna Foundation, offers a two-week all expenses-paid residency at the Institute's Summer Program in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire. Six fellowship recipients will be allowed full access to observe lessons, master-classes, communication training classes and concerts. The program is designed to enhance teaching skills and enable teachers to inspire the students in their local communities.

Residency dates:
                    Session I   -   June 29 to July 10, 2009
                    Session II   -   July 13 to July 24, 2009
                    Session III   -   July 27 to August 7, 2009

The residency covers transportation costs to and from the Institute as well as room and board in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire.

We are no longer accepting applications for 2008. To apply for 2009, please complete and mail the Pedagogy Fellowship application form to the Institute office postmarked no later than May 1, 2009:
