Development and Marketing Manager
We’re looking for a personable, articulate, and passionate, dedicated, mission-driven Development & Marketing Manager to join our dynamic team. The Development & Marketing Manager will work with us to secure financial resources, and will also help to build and manage the Institute’s brand and all aspects of marketing communications. The Manager will report to the President & CEO, and will work closely with the Heifetz Institute’s year-round administration, Board of Directors, and Community Advisory Council. Ready to join our summer team? We are now accepting applications for our 2019 summer season. Approximate dates of employment are June 22 – August 11, 2019. A few staff may be asked to arrive earlier or later; all will depart no later than August 12, 2019
We offer competitive pay for all summer contract positions. Housing and dining hall meals are provided to all staff at no charge. RAs live in single rooms on the student halls they are leading; non-residential employees live in a staff dormitory in single, air-conditioned rooms in a central, convenient location on the campus of Mary Baldwin University here in the vibrant small city of Staunton, Virginia. Internships And Administrative Fellows
The Heifetz Institute accepts a limited number of students for both accredited and non-credited internship opportunities at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. We also accept one highly qualified graduate or post-graduate student per summer to work as an Administrative Fellow directly with our Artistic Director. Interns, from such institutions as Mary Baldwin University, James Madison University, Indiana University, the New England Conservatory, and the Peabody Conservatory at Johns Hopkins, have gained valuable, career-focused experience in arts administration, artistic operations, multimedia, marketing, and development. Would you like to step out of the audience and step in to a supporting role behind the scenes? Volunteers are needed primarily during June, July, and August. They provide a variety of services, ranging from ushering at concerts to transporting our faculty to and from regional airports.
